Around 6000 believers of Jesus Christ joined together on April 12, 2009 in the capital of Albania, Tirana, and marched from Skanderbeg Square to the boulevard, as they prayed for all of our leaders to govern Albania with righteousness and the fear of God. At the end of our march, we all had a joyful time as we celebrated our Risen Lord and Savior together, as the body of Christ in Albania. Songs of joy and victory were sung by thousands of people, rejoicing, and Mother Theresa Square was filled with praises due to a Savior that is ALIVE and offers new life to all who come to Him.
"Bringing Christmas back to the map of Albania"
This was the 6th year of this project. Due to the communist past the meaning of Christmas is misunderstood or unknown in many Albanian cities and villages. The celebration of God's arrival to earth in the form of Jesus has, unfortunately, been seriously neglected in Albania. As it has shown in the past years, different art performances that include children are very successful in planting a message into their hearts. Every year we collaborate with many churches to organize different activities. Children came to our studios and they recorded Christmas poetry.
Radio 7 was proud of Edi, a member of our staff, who was the director of the choir and did an excellent job. Also, Pastor Fitor Muca, producer of our program for Christian Leaders, shared with all the participants the Word of God, as he talked about the crucifixion of our Savior, and the fact that He did not remain in the grave, but is Risen and Lives forever more. We all praise the Lord for all He has done and is going to do through His Body in Albania.

All the poetries were published in a CD. We also had a great show where children performed in a musical, drama, songs, poetry and dancing to show the love of God to church members and other people. For some years now in our Christmas agenda we visit the children in the pediatric hospital. Besides giving gifts to them we have the chance to pray with them and share the gospel.
